Hi,
I had the same problem. I was running 2.4. Try a network flash
(Flashing through LAN):

1.) go to the devboard-R2_01 dir and become SU.
# . init_env
# boot_linux –f –i <image_filename> (<image_filename> is usualy fimage)
2.) If the message:
>Using internal boot loader: INTERNAL_NW – Network boot (default).
>Starting boot…
>We're doing a flash write, this may take up to a few minutes…
appears, switch off the board, set the ethernet boot jumper on the fox
board (I think it's J20), switch the board on again

3.) After the message
>…
>0x803a0000: Writing 0x00010000 bytes
>0x80000000: Verifying…OK
>JUMP
>0x00000000
>END
>Exiting with code 0
the image has been written. The IP has been set to default. You will
have to change it
