doh! using a powered usb-hub (usb-extender) between the fox and the
cam solved the issue!
strange, does the labtec cam draw too much power for the fox's usb
port? and can this cause a kernel oops? being new to linux in general,
there's quite some voodoo going on in the fox ;)
