[foxboard] Problems with the serial test

Hey
I wanted to test the serial ports.
I followed the instructions on the website and started the programm
serial_test.out on the console but then nothing happened.
The website says that everything I write in the console will be send
to the terminal, but I can`t neither write anything in the console nor
is there anything to see in the terminal. Can you tell me what I
should do?
