I've found that generally, this works for crude measurement, but depending
on processor loading and maybe some other factors, the timing gets off.  I
sometimes use an accumulator block which seems to adjust for varying
execution times better.  I assume you have a high alarm or some other
Boolean signal to represent overflow.  One way is to tie the Boolean to the
Hold and put a 1.0 in the meas input and set the mtrfac appropriately.

Can a blocks scan time be used
to accurately count? I am trying to
to count elapsed seconds of overflow
on a tank, the scan time for the block
is 1 second and I increment a memory
register by one on each scan.
