Nothing is fun with charsets... The above just demonstrates the
idea. File system encoding would be another of those wild west
scenarios.....
Just to repeat, be ignorant about charsets is by far the most convenient
scenario. For us, that is. Providing an environment were people (i.e.
programmers/end users) don't need to worry about charsets is a different
philisophy. That is what is being asked (by some users). Lets stop
confusing those.
