That's not the issue. The issue is that this is a fundamental syntax
change, it has the capability of introducing subtle errors, and if it
screws one person's code up such that he has to spend hours or days
tracking down a bug in something that used to work then it's done the
FPC and Lazarus projects significant damage.
It might well be useful as an optional feature, but under no
circumstances enabled by default.
