In our previous episode, Joost van der Sluis said:

I think the problem goes deeper than this. Makefile.fpc doesn't list unit
dependancies (units and .inc files), and fpmake does.

It's this detail that is the bulk of the work (at least IMHO, Jonas?) not
the fact that one has to wrap p.targets.addunit() around it.
