True for syntax variant features.

But *some* syntax candy for common multi thread usage cases (e.g. a "parallel loop") nowadays is a necessity.

Support for a parallel loop is more than syntax candy, it is a fundamental 
language change
and hence falls under 'compelling arguments'.
