As I explained in my other recent email (3 alternatives) - strictly speaking, you can apply the same proposed workflow without Gitlab. Yes "milestones" is a Gitlab thing, but there are possibilities of using both Gitlab and "pure git" to achieve the same workflow. Regards, Graeme
