Alan, I think he is using an anchored frame because there is a line in it that goes all the way across the page.
Um, just an FYI, Graeme has been on this list for at least 5 years that I know of. I kinda sorta think he knows how to use FM pretty well... :-) Graeme, How about putting the frame on the reference page and attaching it to a paratag in the Frame Below field? Would that work for what you are doing? Wouldn't even need KWN. Or (thinking outside the anchored frome - I mean box) instead of using an anchored frame to contain the lines, how about creating a tag that has a right-aligned tab with a leader line (like in a TOC entry, but use the custom field and enter an underbar instead of a .) to create the line (yeah, a little kludgy but I tried it and it works). No problem to set KWN on the tag.
