Hi Frameworkers,

Very excited to be presenting an all-on-16mm program from artist *Josh
Weissbach <https://www.joshweissbach.com/>* this upcoming *Thursday, July
9th* at *Kinonik in Portland, Maine*! Josh will be in attendance for a
post-screening conversation.

See below for more info. Tickets here

.

We are anticipating one final screening at the end of the month for this
run of programs from New England-based filmmakers. I go on a two-year
hiatus called grad school after that, although we are planning ongoing if
more occasional screenings featuring filmmakers working in
artist/experimental/avant-garde/poetic/non-commercial/etc veins even during
that time—hope to stay in touch with those in the region who’ve expressed
interest!

All to say: hope to see you at the cinema soon!

Warmly,
jenelle

*THURSDAY JULY 9th 7PM*

*Josh Weissbach (East Haddam, CT) *is an experimental filmmaker. His
cinematic practice focuses on the relationship between the intimate and the
uncanny within domestic spaces. Central to this process is an investigation
of the visual agency of the (un)built form and the manner in which it
implicates a history of familial trauma. His practice also considers
natural spaces that are defined by the vitality of matter and its transfer
of force.
