Although not a member of Frameworks, Simon Field was certainly known to many of
you for his good humor and enthusiastic support for avant-garde and independent
film-making all kinds in his various roles as festival director, curator, and
film producer (notably the films of Apitchapong Weerasethakul). He passed away
quietly last night at his London home after a valiant struggle with cancer.
Farewell to le meilleur cinéphile.
