I highly recommend the freak out scene/s in the 1978 film Death Drug - it's a clusterfuck of slowed down video, overlaid synth effects (both visual and audio), cheesy hallucinations and completely over the top acting from Miami Vice's Philip Michael Thomas - has to be seen to be believed!
