CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE
makes one 2 layer cake

3/4 of 12 ounce pkg(1 1/2 cups)Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels.
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 Tablespoon vinegar

preheat oven to 350.  Melt over hot (not boiling) water, chocolate morsels; 
stir until smooth.  Set aside. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and 
salt; set aside.  In a large bowl, combine sugar and butter; beat until creamy. 
Add eggs, 1 at a time; beating well after each addition. * Add melted morsels; 
mix until blended.  In a small bowl, combine milk and vinegar; set aside.  
Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with milk mixture.  Spoon batter 
into two greased and floured 9-inch round baking pans.  Bake at 350 for 20-25 
minutes.  Cool 15 minutes; remove from pans.  Cool completely on wire rack. 
Fill and frost with Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting.

* mixture will appear curdled.
