Hadn't before, but I will now, thanks. I was kinda less than overjoyed that audacious forced me to abandon artsd (maybe I did something wrong?) but moving to esound fixed it. I tried to move to jack, but the freebsd-specific help stinks on that ... I *think* it's trying to force me to use the Linux audio driver, which I *won't* do. I have jdk 1.6 working amazingly well, so next stop is a look at atunes, for my curiosity ... because I have to admit, audacious fits my requirements. Amarok just wouldn't build, a C++ compile error. I *do* know c++, but I'm just no expert in it, so troubleshooting C++ isn'[t my first choice (hell, I truly dislike C++ for the specific reason that it's hard to troubleshoot, even for experts.) They've tossed in so many "features" .... _______________________________________________ freebsd-chat@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-chat To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-chat-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
