I use RT 8029 and all ok. I'm sure that 8039 should be ok too.
All NE1000/2000 compatible card are supported by GENERIC kernel.

This is line from my kernel config:

For several ethernets you should add to kernel:

pseudo-device   ef

Did you try 'Generic SVGA' ? I should be slow (w/o alpha, 3d)

AFAIK i810 is only chipset and builtin graphic card has it's own
vendor and model. For example 'Rage 128Pro' (on i815).
