Several people have suggested installing x-windows, kde, gnome etc, but there is really not much advantage there if you are intending to use it as a server. FreeBSD has no significant GUI support for configuring its server software, so it wouldn't give you much more than the ability to run xterms (terminal windows). I presume that you have another computer that you use as a desktop machine. I'd recommend that you install putty, or a similar ssh client, on that machine and access your server using ssh.
