One of my desktops started doing this after a -STABLE update a few weeks ago. I worked around it by setting hw.acpi.thermal.polling_rate=0 in /etc/sysctl.conf. For a one-time change obviously you can just run # sysctl hw.acpi.thermal.polling_rate=0 JN _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
