Consider greylisting, amavisd, SpamAssassin, and a virus scanner of your choice.
Greylisting needs postfix as your MTA at the moment,
milter-greylist works great with sendmail. Here's a somewhat-dated article I wrote about using it and clamav-milter with sendmail:
