Anytime you need to look at the history of the conversation thread, you can look here. Since we have this, and none of the other lists that you've used before did, it might take some getting used to. You may ignore this altogether, but I beg you to pay attention. All of the list that we've used before did not have an archive. This makes people want to leave a huge trail of messages at the foot of their own reply, and include it as they send back and forth. This is a terrible waste of time and space, and forces people to search the body of your message to find the rest of the thread. So often our subjects change or branch out in mid conversation. If you try to keep track of all of the banter and keep the messages in with your own, very soon you are sending whole books of information back and forth. On your own computer, each email takes up a lot of space, because it is a self-contained history of itself. Please don't do this. Snip off the preceding messages and keep the subject name the same (if it is). Let the computers do the work, and store the crap. Paul Tiger
