Hi, some comments on your comments...

HIMEM /INT15H=... should not be extremely hard to do, so I vote for it.

That's another argument that I like: low cost to implement it. A third opinion (or more) for the untie?

Eric, you say DOS5 we have it more or less, I just watch the TODO list and tell you: problems with PRINT and FORMAT, and some other utilities with bugs to be fixed, so even there not quite.

DOS 6.0 not really - our EMM386 is limited, MEMMAKER not existing at all,
ClamAV clamscan can replace MSAV, a VSAFE would be nice (I would like to
start such a project, who wants to help? Rob?), DBLSPACE would have to be
removed 0.21 versions later due to license issues ;-), BACKUP would be bought
from PC-Tools, DEFRAG would be bought from Norton/Symantec,

Ok, so shall we open a bank account so that we developers contribute to this purchase to PC-TOOLS and Symantec??
(sorry, just kidding, couldn't resist ;-))

some others like Win 3.11 compat
should probably be fixed before we call it FreeDOS 1.0 ...

More opinions on this

Congrats if you have reached the end of this mail 8-).

Thanks indeed. This is what I meant when I said I wanted CONCISE mails... :-(
Anyway thanks for your opinion, I knew you were going to be verbose even with my notice...
