Hi!

many issues of OW12 are awaiting to retest (for example, bugs in WMAKE and

OpenWatcom 1.4 wishes, issues, troubles and bugs
------------------------------------------------
As far as differences between WCC and WPP, Michal previously made pretty
clear that the two compilers are separate entities, and them operating
differently is not a major concern for Open Watcom at this time.
The code generator is apparently a black art area, but does get worked on
by those few who know it. I wouldn't anticipate anyone modifying it
without interactive input from a user about a verifiable bug, or clear
demonstration of suboptimal output which affects Windows or one of the more
popular operating systems. 16-bit and DOS platform items tend to to only
get fixed for major errors or as a side-effect of fixing for another platform.
Anyway, hopefully someone here will go through your list and put those
entries which seem appropriate into the Open Watcom bug tracker. Then you
just need a DOS-friendly developer or two. Working the Open Watcom source
tree is not a light undertaking, that's for sure.
