Obviously because a lot of DOS computers does not have a SATA "CDROM" (probably more DVD disk).

Ideally I would say try gcdrom, if it does not work, use old UDVD2.

But, to be more prudent I propose: try UDVD2, if it does not work, try gcdrom.

As far as any driver goes, there is no difference between CDROM or DVD...
