Hi Jeremy,

could you share some roadmap for the documentation/changelog
updates for kernel 2043 and freecom 0.85, to make planning
easier when it comes to including updates in FreeDOS 1.3rc5?

I guess this could also include being more specific about
the "work of others" in the to be updated changelog. Thanks
to Bart for his shell contributions, if I am not mistaken :-)

Having a good changelog in the 2043 and 0.85 downloads would
be something which should be available before addressing the
HMA, UMB and other future features: Those have work-arounds,
so they can easily wait a few months, as you have planned.

Maybe you can also set the file timestamps to the dates of
the most recent commit for the file in question, in the zips,
as there must be some scripts to implement that.

The FAQ about GIT claims that if the timestamps would not be
stomped for each update, people may fail to re-compile all.
Should that not be THEIR problem? People can use MAKE CLEAN
before compiler runs if they really worry about such things.

Thanks in advance for updating the docs!

Regards, Eric
