today I tested the live CD. At least on my hardware it creates a single 2 GB 
FAT-16 partition like intended and successfully installs a bootable system 
(plain installation without extras and source).

There seems to be a minor graphics glitch at the end of the installer, see

I noticed edlin32 2.21 is not working because of missing dos4gw.exe, but 
perhaps that is already obsoleted by the 2.22 release?
