I agree, especially as fdnpkg  makes it very simple to download other files that do not necessarily be on the cds. Additionally I think about adding a lot of network drivers, e.g. from Georg Potthast, see: http://www.georgpotthast.de/sioux/packet.htm,
(can the drivers be added even if they are not open source???). On my old laptop I simply had to add the correct driver, and it worked.

Another question, would it make sense to create an Excel sheet with free games, name of game, hyperlink to download side, size in mb etc. as a preparation for a possible bonus game CD? I think there are enough free games available.

I have a personal bias here, but I think that basic network connectivity should be part of the standard packaging and not relegated to a bonus CD.  There are other things that should be moved first.

For example, mTCP is 3.5MB and that includes the documentation, which is several times larger than the actual program code.  Is "Kraptor" from 2006 at 10MB really worth more than DHCP, SNTP, FTP and Telnet?
