Aitor remembers correctly -- he simply goes a few years further back than
you and me. Before August '99 TC 2.01 couldn't be used. Watcom's been
used as reference since Feb 2002.

true. I see it mainly as a quality issue -- sometimes bugs show up with
some compiler that do not with another one. Optimizing for anything else
than OW is however simply a waste of time (and also mine since it takes a
lot of time to filter patches for relevant stuff).

Anyway I think I'm repeating myself again here. Let's not waste more
bandwidth on the issue :)
