I don't know, but there are no reason to "built into" TCP/IP into
kernel. You always may run TCP/IP drivers in FreeDOS, as in any other DOS.


Yes there is.
1) WatTcp: very good and simple. Creates 16 bit executables. Free
2) Watt-32: port of above to create 32 bit executables. Not very good: too complex and buggy (tried and gave up). Free


3) BRAND NEW: from ANDREAS BERGER with a little help from me (mainly testing): very good and very fast. Has a small TSR that handles buffers, inclusive in XMS, and a minor part of IP and ICMP. A library to build 16 and 32 bit executables has the rest. ARP,ICMP ok but basic, UDP is working fine, TCP has yet to be done. This is to be open source if there is interest.
