Cliff: freenetmail is a small utility that does a weird approximation
of email messaging through Freenet. It's definitely not a full email
system, and you have to understand Java stuff even to get it to run.
It's located in Freenet here:

I'm working on making a version that runs as a Java applet from an
HTML page within Freenet, and MJR is making a whole new
SMTP-to-Freenet mail gateway (I think blanu is working on one, too --
are you guys collaborating at all?).
