I don't think there was a distribution when I first experienced
Linux. Of course I never got anything working either. :( Then
came Slackware and I thought that was the coolest ever. I could
actually get Linux to boot!
So there I was until RH, so that I was an easy mark, for
half-decent install programs. <s> Customer loyalty being what it
is, I'm still there. Now, I have 'flirted' with other distro's,
but I didn't find anything that put me over that all powerful,
'Pain vs. Pleasure' threshold.
