Well, the first Slakwar which contained Kernel 2.0 (dont ask me for
the Slakware version) was my first touch to Linux.

Some time later I found out that my intention to keep a clean system
under Slakware would be much more easy with a package manager. Fortunately
I failed to get a RPM-based distribution running and switched to Debian.
Now I don't see any reason for a change ;-).
