One of the common problems when installing FreePM seems to be because
all of the Zope products do not adhere to the same standard of
packaging. Some should be unpacked in the Zope root directory, others
directly in the Products directory.
BTree Folders and Calendar are two such Products that must be unpacked
in the Products directory OR moved there after unpacking.
Also there is an issue with Xron (the system scheduler, like cron). It
causes some machine/operating system combinations to hang. In MOST
cases, stop Zope and then start again and the problem is resolved.
THere are cases that do not resolve. There has not yet been enough
information gathered to determine the exact cause (AFAIK). Loren
Stafford (the author) is active on the Zope list and if you have this
problem I'm sure he would like to know. FreePM can live without Xron.
So if it hangs your system, delete it from the Products directory.
