Hello,

We are looking into use FreePM at a small Home Health Agency in Michigan (United
Nursing Service: www.unitednursing.com ). Our current scheduling method involves two
rather large binders and a few thousand sheets of paper, so we are rather looking
forward to the prospect of computerising the process. We have been running into some
problems trying to at least test out the FreePM system though; I have read through
most of the help and archives, so hopefully these are not repeat questions.

1: in the add appointment window, when one tries to search for a patient, the
user/pass window pops up and no combination will let the query go through

2: How hard would it be to get to to list appointments by name instead of EMR number?
(have the patient name shown in the provider scheduler window)

3: Oh, my brain seems to be skipping over what EMR stands for...

4: the monthly view shows 31 days side by side in the provider schedule viewer. When
one attempts to print, it only prints up to 13 and there seems no way to print the
rest, how would one set up a printer friendly version of the page?

My python skills are not up to par and this is the first time that I have used Zope,
but if I stay at this agency for a length of time I hope to modify FreePM into more of
a HHA suited app. There seems to be no easy way to print off a calendar by patient
(select patient, select month and it will print out all scheduled visits). Also,
there is no Home Health Aide specifacation, but this should be pretty easy to add.
Oh, I have not yet fully explored the templates, but can one set up stock visits, such
as "Overnight Aide Stay" and just use these as a starting point?

We are a small agency, and not really in a rush to get all of this implemented (we
just received some computers that can actually run FreePM, we had a pentium 133 that
would allow zope to install but refused to import FreePM.zexp) but it would be nice to
get this working. If we do go far enough to have a stable home health scheduling
system, we will gladly give it back to the community so that others don't have to go
through all of this. I am debating whether or not to hide some of the features such
as all of the prescription stuff, but that decision is not a vital one.

Oh, if anyone knows of any scheduling systems that would be better suited to our
needs, please tell me. FreePM was the best that I could find that was Free and stable.

Thank you, and I hope that FreePM continues to grow
