I really don't have the liberty to do this, because we are using FreeRadius in a production scenario, any lapse in service is unacceptable. And it may be that running the server for days on end with our load might be bringing out a new crack that hasn't shown up before. But I really am loath to chagne a working config, unless it will fix the problem we have.
