Yeah... Like I said, it *shouldn't* try to make it. I assume you've tried doing a gmake distclean and reconfiguring and rebuilding? Perhaps try configuring with --enable-strict-dependencies and see what it complains about not having. I haven't had any problems on 4.6 and 4.7-STABLE.
