Then I would say that the problem lies with configuring the user in NIS+ on your system. So far as FreeRADIUS is concerned, it just asks for the password from the "system", and doesn't know (or care) if it comes from /etc/passwd, or NIS+ Alan DeKok. - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
