YES i had this same problem
you need to ldconfig <path to the rlm drivers> 
then reconfigure, make and make install free radius
for postgresql, this directory was /usr/local/pgsql/lib

for mysql i guess it might somethign like /usr/mysql/lib
or /usr/local/mysql/lib
depends on where you installed the mysql lib's when you insatlled mysql.
