I am using Freeradius 0.9.3 on a X86 machine running
Gentoo Linux. I compiled Freeradius myself from
source. I am using Ascend Max for NAS. We are
authenticating users from authentication data in a
MySql database. I am also using the PHP interface
called "Dialup Admin".
I need to collect bad password attempts daily.
If someone types their correct username and a bad
password to begin their dialup session, the termination
cause gets logged in the radacct table in mysql with a
blank username.
The radius.log flat file logs a message stating
'Login incorrect' with the username, but I'd rather get it
from mysql with the termination cause.
Is this a bug in Freeradius? In Mysql? Is this a feature?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
