Marc-Andre, >>dfbfreerdp will work, but will have some glitches here and there, and is >>definitely not polished. However, whoever wants to spend time fixing it has a >>pretty good basis :P I might get to work on it soon enough, I'll keep you up >>to date on that. Ok then I must not have something correct yet. When I run dfbfreerdp it seems to load but only shows the default directfb mouse cursor (I have attached a screenshot of this image) when I move the mouse the directfb cursor moves. However the actual RDP client never shows on the screen and after a couple of minutes the program terminates and dumps the following lines: Received Set Error Information PDU with reason 0 run_dfbfreerdp: inst->rdp_check_fds failed DBG (RDP5) gdi_ui_destroy_surface (794): ui_destroy_surface DBG (RDP5) gdi_ui_destroy_surface (794): ui_destroy_surface DBG (RDP5) gdi_ui_destroy_surface (794): ui_destroy_surface (!!!) *** WARNING [still objects in 'Layer Region Pool'] *** [object.c:241 in fusion_object_pool_destroy()] (!!!) *** WARNING [still objects in 'Layer Context Pool'] *** [object.c:241 in fusion_object_pool_destroy()] (!!!) *** WARNING [still objects in 'Surface Pool'] *** [object.c:241 in fusion_object_pool_destroy()]
Does this mean anything to you or do I need to get an strace or enable some debug mode and get more info? Also below is the initial data that is dumped. What does "ui_error: ERROR: getaddrinfo: Name or service not known" mean? The interesting thing is xfreerdp works perfect on the same target system. ###Here is the initialization messages: process_params starting thread 1 to -f:3389 process_params starting thread 2 to 10.12.3.13:3389 process_params run_dfbfreerdp: run_dfbfreerdp: freerdp_chanman_pre_connect: keyboard_layout: 0 connecting to -f:3389 freerdp_chanman_pre_connect: keyboard_layout: 0 connecting to 10.12.3.13:3389 ui_error: ERROR: getaddrinfo: Name or service not known run_dfbfreerdp: inst->rdp_connect failed freerdp_chanman_post_connect: server name [10.12.3.13] chan_man->num_libs [0] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| DirectFB 1.4.2 |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (c) 2001-2009 The world wide DirectFB Open Source Community (c) 2000-2004 Convergence (integrated media) GmbH ---------------------------------------------------------------- (*) DirectFB/Core: Single Application Core.
