Thanks, this will help me investigate the source of the problem
I was asking for xorg.conf just to see the X11 server color depth - there
are issues if it is in 16bpp. However, yours is 24bpp, so the issue you
mentioned is unrelated. I'll look into it, I might have an idea but I'll try
it out tomorrow.
