All,
I'm neither a crypto specialist nor a lawyer, but both MD5 and SHA-1 are
ietf RFCs (RFC 1321 and RFC 3174, respectively).
Both RFCs contain full reference source code and licences that seem to be
compatible with Apache (cf. the licensing texts in the respective RFCs).
If the current code in FreeRDP's SSL.c was originally based on the above
code, any significant change might not even be needed...
