I believe i am using debian packages?I installed it using$apt install
freerdp2-x11
Microphone works locally, when i redirect both speaker and the mic, speaker
works however mic won’t catch any sound for some reason.

Did you check if the microphone works for local applications? The mixer
might simply be set to the wrong device or muted.
