I am very impressed about Enlightenment 0.17 (http://www.casadamico.net/~dave/e17.png). It's fast and *beautiful* (and i haven't see any *bsd or gnu/linux distribution use it by default). There are a lot of problems and/or incompatibility, but i tried Evidence (Enlightenment file manager) and i think it's the best one i've ever tried.
Let me know what do you think about this wm and its use in freesbie as the base for the 'big' destkop environment. The 'light' wm we could use is waimea because it's new, it's very minimal and it uses cairo libs and gtk2. dave -- FreeSBIE mailing list (http://www.freesbie.org)
