Well... For moste people, that have little understanding of Computers,
their definition of Computers is limited to x86 (-64) architecture. Or
in other words: Anything that can run Windows...
In the main definition, the computer is a programmable calculator. So
even the Babbage' calculator does fit in...

I call the RasperryPi a computer, as it has certrain features of a
personal computer:

  * You can use standardized HID's (USB Mouse/Keybouard)
  * Graphical user interface (even a console with ncurses may be so...)
  * an easy deployable/predeployable operating system, that works
  * standardtized I/O (USB, LAN)
  * A/V outputs (RCA, Stereo, HDMI)

or in other words, it can also handle regular ''office workflow'' and
multimedia playback...

For a microcontroller, it seems not to be so specific... I mean, a
microcontroller usually needs code to be assembled for its specific
architecture... And a DSP does only handle digital I/O in general...
The Raspberry Pi can, in difference to microcontrollers, be set up and
installed w/o a computer during the process. Only the OS has to be
installed on the SD card, which is similar to cloning an OS of regular
PC's... Usually, a microcontroller needs some kind of code to be
uploaded before first use, and is dependent on debugging-hardware
(sometimes, it is included...)
