Your processor must have hardware floating point! Sorry, it's a much faster way to get working code than writing a fixed-point implementation. Programmers and time-to-market are more expensive than CPUs. Anyway, we're down to $5 chips even with hardware FP.

There isn't yet a test of both the codec and modem in an embedded processor rather than just the codec. We should have one soon.
