Nice to hear from you again. There is a USB OTG on board, which means it can be 
a USB master although nothing about the design so far is intended to use that 
except for firmware update. It's going to be RAM limited. And you would have to 
code up something to load separate programs, and add a few I/Os.

It may be that it is better to make this sweet and simple and to leave it to 
others to produce a Raspberry-Pi-like thing in a similar form factor.

Or just let them use their smartphones. I got the West Mountain Bluetooth to 
2-way-radio interface delivered today. It does everything necessary for 
wireless control of the radio and audio, from a computer or headset. It's a 
small box with knobs, but maybe they will make a stick version someday.
