I can't get any audio from that video. Other stuff on Youtube works.

I did explore audio latency on Linux. It helps that I have a native ALSA 
driver rather than the portability layer. ALSA seems to work most stably 
when I set the interrupt boundary to 1/8 frame worth of samples and the 
buffer size to two frames. The latency should approach embedded 
performance, and the CPU still spends most of its time asleep.

Oddly, ALSA seems less stable if I set the interrupt boundary to a 
larger portion of a frame. 1/4 frame is probably an optimum balance 
between latency and power usage.
