I got my SM1000 yesterday

Guys I have to say, well done on the execution. The finish is very very good.

It looks 101%  professional finished product.

The only thing I would have done different is a DB-9 male  instead of an RJ45.  RJ45s are pigs of things to make cables for .  DB9s are plentiful and easy to solder.

Assuming /usr/local/lib is in your library search path then you may need to
run ldconf (as root) after installing a 'new' library before it will be
found.
