Hello Lists, Richard has just released FreeDV 1.0, which includes the new 700B mode. You can download an installer for Win32 (and stable source for Linux) here:
http://freedv.org/tiki-index.php The 0.4 codec2 stable release also includes the latest FreeDV API that includes the 700B mode. Please try 700B and post some feedback here, in particular how does it compare with SSB in high and low SNR channels? I have also brought the freedv.org wiki front page up to date.
