I have been testing the voice keyer using the FREEDV V1.1 GUI and an SM1000 for receiving and it works perfectly EXCEPT if I tx from the SM1000 during the reception period the voice keyer does not stop even if a valid signal has been synced and received for greater than 20 secs. In fact FREEDV will happily TX over the incoming signal even though it has been in sync greater than 20 secs.
This is contrary to the info on David's Blog at http://www.rowetel.com/blog/?p=4593 , which states "It also stops if it detects a valid FreeDV sync for 5 seconds, to avoid congesting the band if others are using it." My S/N Ratio has been greater than 20 dB and the program happily decodes audio from SM1000 Anybody else seen this issue?
